Emergency Housing Funds for Sovereign Single Mama

We are raising funds for our staunch Djab Wurrung, Gunditjmara, Yuin friend. She is an ocean protector, language keeper, artist and postpartum single mama of four.

She is currently experiencing housing precarity on her own sovereign Country.

They are in urgent need of transitional housing and material support while they seek stable, long term housing on Country to continue fighting for the protection of sacred songlines.

This campaign is therefore seeking mutual aid to raise funds for:

Our friend is one the most resilient, staunch, self-sustaining, and boss as mama’s out there.

This money will enable our friend to continue to protect her country, culture and have her children grow up on their sovereign lands.

It is our time to step up and gather resources for her to continue her vital work and allow her to parent without the acute stressors and traumas of ongoing colonial tyranny.
