Emergency Housing for Eva's Family in Need

It is with a heavy heart that we share that Eva Seig is on hospice care for her Stage IV Metastatic Uterine Leiomyosarcoma cancer. She was first diagnosed January 31st, 2025 after finding a mass on her uterus and having a total hysterectomy done. At this time it was only Stage 1 and she has been fighting it since then, including with insurance to approve chemotherapy treatments. It was only after she was hospitalized on August 8th, 2025, discovering the cancer had metastasized to her lungs, requiring 2 rounds of radiation therapy, and learning her prognosis was a year or less depending on how the cancer reacts to the chemotherapy. She underwent 3 rounds of chemotherapy which resulted in a minimum of 2 week hospital stay each time following. After the 3rd and final round, we learned that chemo seemed to be ineffective for the tumors as the size had increased compared to the previous round. She has now been left with the only choice of hospice for the remainder of her life to attempt to make her as comfortable as possible. Following these awful and extenuating circumstances, she has been unable to keep up with living expenses as a single income household and are facing eviction with her 2 sons,  Sebastian (23), and Orian (11) that still live with her. Keilani, her oldest daughter, has spent the better part of the last year using her own money to supplement covering the bills when possible, handling her mom's medical needs and paperwork, looking for a rehoming solution, assisting Sebastian with getting the care he needs as he struggled with his own medical issue of having micro-strokes in the midst of this, supporting Orion attending elementary school, and now fighting the eviction while still trying to be a present mother to her own daughter and working a full time job. With no more stalling available, we are asking for your support for emergency housing and additional funds back due to living and medical expenses. We hope to have the remainder of Eva's life be peaceful, surrounded by her family.
