My name is Katrina, and I’m reaching out because my life has taken an unexpected turn. I live with my girlfriend and our best friend, who recently moved back from Wyoming after losing her own housing. We’re three transgender women who have always tried to support our community and make the world a better place. Now, we’re facing a crisis and need help ourselves.

Our current housing situation changed suddenly when our roommate decided to sell the house, giving us only three weeks’ notice to move out. We’re still searching for a new place, but time is running out and the stress is overwhelming. On top of that, my car broke down, and the cost of repairs is exceedingly high ($3500). My car is essential for getting to work, medical appointments, and helping my girlfriend get to her job and appointments as well.

We’re doing everything we can to find stable housing and reliable transportation, but we can’t do it alone. Any support will go directly toward securing a safe place to live and a major car repair so we can keep working, stay healthy, and continue supporting our community. Update: thank you all so much for the support, it means SO much you have no idea. the repair bill for my car is now nearing $7000, so it seems it’ll be unfeasible to repair it. i’ll be looking for a used car well within our budget, and hopefully can find something without too many issues. thank you all so much for the support so far.
