My name is Ashlee, and I am starting this GoFundMe on behalf of one of the kindest, most selfless families I know, "The Salisbury Family".

I met Krystle, the incredible Mama of this family through our leadership with Frontier Girls of America - Troop 642. From the moment I met her, it was clear how deeply she cares for her husband, four children, community, and everyone around her. She is the kind of person who gives her time, energy, good vibes, and heart freely, without asking for anything in return.

Over the last week, the Salisbury family has and is facing an urgent and overwhelming situation. The leach line on their property has failed and needs to be replaced as soon as possible. The repair has been quoted at $4,200.

While I know this would be a heavy burden for ANY family, It's especially critical for the Salisbury family because they are a one income household. Every bit of their income goes to paying their day to day bills, as well as any additional savings go towards the around the clock care of their youngest daughter, Abby, who has Type 1 Diabetes, and their oldest daughter, Aliya, who lives with POTS and Gastroparesis.

Krystle and Danny do everything in their power to provide for their children and home. Danny works 15 hour shifts, picking up any overtime he can get, just to make sure their family has what they need. Krystle is not only a stay at home mom and full time care giver for Abby's medical needs, she also home schools three of their four children, pouring into their education, care, and well being EVERY SINGLE DAY. As well as donating her time in running Frontier Girls of America - Troop 642 and donating massive amounts of time throughout the community.

Despite this overwhelming and unexpected home emergency, they have remained humble, strong, and focused on their family. They have handled this situation with grace, and quiet resilience. However, I know behind their strength they are scared, hurting, overwhelmed and DESPERATELY need our help.

To buy a little time their plumber has dug a large, open hole in their backyard to divert water from the failed leach line, septic tank, and home. This is only a temporary fix as it is extremely dangerous as the hole needs to stay open, with no covering. This poses a serious risk to their immune compromised daughters and everyone else in the home. If this repair is not made soon it can result in TOTAL SEPTIC FAILURE, turning this into an even larger and more costly emergency.

This isn't just about a plumbing emergency, it's about giving a medically vulnerable family a safe, functional home environment where they can continue living their daily lives without stress and fear.

I'm desperately asking for your help in raising $4,200 to help the Salisbury family replace their leach line, protect their septic tank/home, and give peace of mind back to a family who has given so much to others.
