Hello Everyone,

First and foremost, we want to say that we wouldn’t be reaching out like this if there were any other option. Right now, my siblings and I are facing a difficult situation, and we’ve come to a point where we need to ask for help to support our parents.

If my parents knew we were doing this, they would probably feel disappointed because of the pride they carry, but we simply don’t have another choice. We've realized that we can't handle this alone and are turning to our friends and family for support.

My dad, who is now 70 years old, has had to stop working due to ongoing health issues that have worsened over the past few months. He and my mom are currently living on a very limited fixed income and are in urgent need of assistance.

Recently, my dad was diagnosed with arthritis, osteoporosis, a dislocated hip, and a pinched nerve in his spine. These conditions have caused him to lose feeling in his hands and feet and have made it extremely difficult for him to walk, leaving him temporarily disabled.

While my dad is determined to get better, he needs a safe and accessible place to live in the meantime. The house needs several modifications to make it handicap-friendly so he can move around more independently, especially since my mom also requires medical attention and can't fully care for him on her own.

We have created this GoFundMe for anyone willing and able to help. More than anything, we ask for your prayers for our parents, our siblings, and our entire family as we navigate this new chapter.

For now, we are trying to keep this quiet until we can discuss the outcome with my dad. We know he’d try to stop us from doing this, but we can’t sit back any longer. This is our first step, and we’ll go from here.
