Your support matters!
“I lost everything and anything, turned to be homeless, without memories and money”. This is my current situation.
My name is Mahmoud Mukhaimar, 31 years old, married, and have a sweet one-year-old child.
We live in the Khan Younis refugee camp that turned upside down when war struck.
We had a beautiful house, BUT without our willingness we fled our home due to constant bombings, living in a tent, only to discover our apartment burned and destroyed on the 136th day of the war, and my parents home ( the growing-up house ) destroyed on the 147th day too.
My life and the life of my family have been turned upside down due to the ongoing war in Gaza since October 7.
As well as our only source of income ( two bodybuilding and fitness centers that I established in mid-2021 and the other only about a month before the war, designated only for women, and both of which I established with the highest degree of sophistication, quality, and modern character.
But unfortunately, everything I have saved and worked for over the years has gone to waste!
My source of income turned into rubble too!
Therefore, I was left without a home and money at a time when everything became at ridiculous and exorbitant prices which increased tenfold at the very least, for example, but not limited to, the price of baby diapers is approximately $100, and the average cost of most kinds of vegetables is 30$/Kg, and so on!
The threat of bombings is a daily struggle and the fear of displacement is constant.
I’m trying to secure my family by all means
So we are suffering bombing along with starvation for more than 5 month !
Because we no longer have a life here, I decided with my family to continue our lives outside the Gaza Strip by traveling and searching for a life of safety and peace.
I believe that I have an opportunity abroad, as I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting E and worked for more than 6 years as a financial manager as so as worked in several jobs before and I have many skills in addition to my two projects that turned into rubble.
So I look forward to you helping us get out of the bottleneck, escape to a safer place, and build a new life.
Budget Plan
I estimated the costs of surviving the war by leaving the Gaza Strip as follows:
• Coordination costs for crossing the Rafah land crossing to reach Egypt through Hala Tourism and Engineering Consulting Company for 3 people: 2 adults = 10,000 USD + 1 child = 2,500 USD.
• Ground transportation costs at least 100 USD.
• Entry Visas and travel tickets cost 6,700 euros.
• Miscellaneous travel expenses: 2,300 euros.
• The cost of renting a house for 6 months is approximately 4,200 euros.
• Expenses for an estimated period of 6 months: 21,000 euros.
Your contribution, even if small, is important to save my family.
Your donation can make an immediate impact, providing food, shelter, and hope. Every dollar counts—be a beacon of support.
