This year has been incredibly hard on my family, just like it has for so many others. My boyfriend lost his job and has been struggling to find steady work, which has left me responsible for all of our bills. He’s picked up a few odd jobs here and there, but it just hasn’t been enough to keep us afloat. Right now, we’re living without heat in our home, and I’m behind on rent, and now our senior dog is in need of surgery . If I can’t pay our landlord we’re facing eviction and the very real possibility of losing our home.

I am doing everything I can to make ends meet, but nothing feels like enough. I’ve always tried to handle things on my own, but at this point, I’m not sure what my options are.
