Emergency: Help Save Tokyo’s Life Before It’s Too Late
Donation protected
Tokyo has always been full of life and mischief—chasing his favorite feather toy, climbing onto my back for piggyback rides (his personal Uber!), and exploring every corner of his world with endless curiosity.
But last week, everything changed.
He started losing weight at an alarming rate, dropping from 10 pounds to just 5. He sniffs his favorite food and walks away. He has been vomiting so much that now there’s nothing left to come out. It kills me to feel his bones when I pet him. He no longer wants to play. He barely has the energy to move. And I am absolutely terrified—words can’t even describe what I feel right now.
I rescued Tokyo and his brother when they were just one day old, abandoned outside. Since then, they have been my family, my best friends, my world. Tokyo is only four years old, and I can’t imagine losing him. Worse, I can’t imagine his brother having to cope with that loss, either.
I am a full-time pre-med student, and I’ve already spent everything I had on his initial vet visits and tests. The vet is deeply concerned he has a bowel obstruction, which means he urgently needs:
• Ultrasound ($600)
• Extensive blood work ($400)
• Follow-up care ($1,000)
• Medication ($100)
• Possibly surgery ($3,000–$7,000)
I have exhausted every option, and I am desperate. I can’t wait any longer. I can’t stand to see him in pain.
Please, if you can spare $5, $10, or anything at all, it would mean everything to me. Every single donation brings us one step closer to saving Tokyo’s life. If you can’t donate, please share. The more people who see this, the better his chances.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I will post updates here as soon as I have them.
