Helllo, my name is David McCool. I’m asking for help because I’ve run out of options.

After a period of homelessness in the UK, I’m currently in hospital and unable to work. During this time, my passport expired, and I don’t have the funds to replace it or book a flight.

My partner has just given birth, or is about to, and I am stranded thousands of miles away. I’m trying to do the only thing that matters right now: get to my child.

The funds raised will be used only for:

• An emergency passport replacement

• A one-way flight to reunite with my partner and newborn

• Basic travel costs required to make the journey safely

This is not about starting over or rebuilding a life — it’s about being present at the most important moment a parent can have.
