This is Chelsea's husband, posting on her behalf.

Late Friday night, November 7, 2025, while she was out of town in Orlando at The Vanguard (578 N Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32801), my wife was robbed inside the venue.
The person took EVERYTHING… her iPhone, ID, debit and credit cards, food stamp card, and every bit of cash she had on her.

But the craziest part wasn’t just that she was robbed — it was how The Vanguard’s security handled it.
She immediately went to security for help, explaining what had just happened, and asked them to call the police.
They refused.
They told her there was nothing they could do. They didn’t call the police, didn’t file a report, and didn’t help her get safe transportation or access to help.
She was left standing there — alone, scared, and with no way to call for help, since her phone had just been stolen.

She had just finished paying $1,994.09 over two years for that iPhone… only two days earlier.
What she didn’t know was that once the phone was fully paid off, the prepaid two-year insurance coverage ended automatically — and she would have had to manually reaccept coverage and start paying monthly to continue protection.
Because that hadn’t been done yet, the phone isn’t insured or replaceable.

That phone was her lifeline. Without it, she can’t verify her identity or access any of her accounts. Her bank, benefits, email, and medical portals all use two-step verification through her phone number.
Because of that, she can’t even close or freeze some of her stolen accounts… since every system requires her to receive verification codes she no longer has access to.

She’s now back home, but still completely unable to fix what’s happened.
Through automated systems, we learned that both her Apple Card and debit card — where all of our real money was — were cleaned out.
We know the credit card charges can eventually be reversed, but the debit account is much harder to recover.

Chelsea also needs to be able to cover bills that are coming out soon… but she has no access to money to pay them, since her real cash was wiped out.
She can’t verify her identity or travel safely without her ID.
Her bank account is in Ohio, and the only way to verify her identity now is to physically go into a branch — which isn’t possible right now without identification.

Right now, her top priorities are:
Replacing her phone so she can access her accounts and identity again
Replacing her stolen ID and cards
Covering food, transportation, and basic needs while we rebuild
Regaining access to her debit funds

Chelsea has survived severe depression, BPD, and a lifetime of trauma and abuse.
She’s a full-time caregiver to our two autistic children… one nonverbal, and both needing constant care. She gives everything she has to them every single day.

But this has pushed her beyond her limit.
She’s emotionally shattered, terrified, and feels like she’s lost everything she’s worked for.
I’m deeply concerned for her mental health and well-being right now… and my focus is keeping her safe and supported while we try to rebuild.

The Vanguard’s complete lack of response during a moment of crisis made an already devastating situation even worse. No patron should ever be robbed inside a venue and told that “there’s nothing we can do.”

Every dollar will go directly toward helping Chelsea get back on her feet… and regain access to her life.

If you can help, please do. If you can’t, please share.
This isn’t just about replacing things… it’s about helping someone who’s lost everything — and demanding accountability from a venue that failed to act when it mattered most.
