Emergency Help Needed for Our Friend Nick
On Tuesday, July 15th, my husband Jeff and his best friend Nick were working on a church in Stevenson, AL when a powerful electrical arc struck both of them. It knocked them unconscious instantly.
Jeff came to and found Nick unresponsive and turning blue. Despite his own injuries, he performed CPR for 15 minutes until help arrived. Nick was airlifted to Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, where he remains in ICU.
Nick has been more than just a coworker—he has been part of our family for over 15 years. He has worked beside my husband every day, through every job, in every season. His loyalty, kindness, and strength have meant so much to us all.
Now, we are asking for help on his behalf.
Nick’s road to recovery is going to be long and hard. His family is already under tremendous emotional strain. We do not want them to worry about bills, food, or hotel stays—we just want them to focus on being there for Nick.
We are setting up this GoFundMe to help cover:
• Hospital and rehabilitation costs
• Travel and lodging for Nick’s family
• Time off work for his wife to be by his side
• Any long-term care or accommodations he may need during recovery
If you can give anything—whether it’s $5, $50, or prayers—it would mean the world to all of us. Please help us lift this incredible man and his family in their time of greatest need.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
