This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write. Over the last year, my life has been turned upside down—not just by overwhelming debt, but by medical issues that have drained me financially, physically, and emotionally. What started as a few unexpected health setbacks spiraled into a series of bills, missed work, and constant stress that I’ve been struggling to climb out of ever since.

I’m currently stuck in an apartment I can no longer afford, but because of my financial situation, I haven’t been able to qualify for a more affordable place. Every month feels like I’m fighting just to stay afloat, and the weight of it all—combined with trying to manage my health—has become too heavy to carry alone. I’ve reached a point where no matter how hard I try, I can’t catch up. I’m exhausted, I’m scared, and I’m trying to hold onto hope.

Starting this GoFundMe is my last option, not my first. I’ve always tried to be independent, but right now I need help to break free from this cycle—help to pay down the debt that’s suffocating me, help to move into a safer and more affordable home, and help to finally get to a place where I can focus on healing instead of surviving.
