On December 20th, in the early morning hours, a fire broke out in a Lowell home.
Everything was destroyed. Two beloved family cats perished in the flames. A family is now homeless.
My life long friend, Michelle Dery and her 16yo son Connor who had just moved into the house, lost everything. A lifetime of memories and belongings. She has already recently lost so much, as she is in the middle of divorce proceedings.
Michelle has always been someone to help out anyone, and often has, from organizing a holiday drive to help a mother provide a Christmas, to cooking meals to share, to helping friend fund-raise; now it's our turn to help her.
Clothing, personal belongings, household items, everything is needed and right before the holidays, let's see if we can show her that the Holiday Spirit is not lost and help with a Christmas Miracle.
