EMERGENCY❗️ Help Imani move to a safe environment

Hi, my name is Imani and I need any help you can offer.

It took me a long time to muster the courage to ask for help but my situation is getting worse and will eventually kill me. I currently live with a relative who threatens both my safety and housing in order to maintain power over me. She suffers with narcissistic personality disorder among other mental illnesses but goes untreated due to extreme religiosity. A few days ago during a tantrum, she threatened to kill me, then kill herself. I realized staying here will not allow me any room to grow. I was previously employed but she made it hard to save, demanding both my wages and financial aid when I was still enrolled in school. My plan is to find a room to rent so I can work and save for a car in peace or a plane ticket to Texas where it will be cheaper to live.

My abuser and I currently live in a two bedroom apartment but because I graduated college and have expressed desire to move out, she’s preparing to force me into a one bedroom where public transportation isn’t as reliable so I’ll have to rely on her for rides. This is all so she’ll know where I am at all times. She works to isolate me from my friends and the few family members that are aware of her behavior. I can’t allow her to continue severing the support system I’ve worked so hard to establish just to keep me tied to her. I’m afraid for my life. Any help you can give means so much to me.
