Hey everyone, I’m Chelsea and I decided to start this fundraiser for my parents (Jackie & David Powers). I contemplated doing this but ultimately, I know they need help. They lost their garage/work space last night due to a fire (9/18/2023). They use this space to make an income to make ends meet. During the span of the night, my mother began experiencing severe chest pains and was taken to the hospital for cardiac arrest. My dad has taken this week off of work and I know that they cannot afford for him to do that. They won’t be able to make their bills if my dad doesn’t work (I’m just being 100% here). My mother is still in the hospital and we do not know when she will be home.

Whatever money is donated, we will use to help my parents through the next couple of weeks. Gas money, food, groceries, bills, etc. (I don’t really know how much they need, but ultimately anything is appreciated and will be used to help them move forward). As for the garage rebuild and lost tools/heirlooms/vehicles, we’re praying for insurance to help but we ultimately have no idea what will come of it.

We’re thankful for the prayers and support. We had no idea this many people cared about our family.
