Emergency Help for the Parido’s
Donation protected
While enjoying a movie at a friend’s on the night of October 16th, 2021, Mark and Cyndi Parido answered a phone call from a frantic neighbor, telling them that their home was in flames.
With the help of Jefferson County Fire & Rescue, the fire was put out, but left the life Mark and Cyndi had built together over decades in ashes. Worst of all, their loving cat Spooky, who they inherited from their late son, was trapped in smoke and devastatingly passed before they could reach him.
The Parido’s are not only displaced, they are rightfully traumatized. They have been able to acquire temporary housing, but are left without basic necessities and are experiencing loss, after loss. Not only is Mark an army veteran, but both he and Cyndi are incredible members of our community, generous and kind friends, loving parents, and a couple in need of help. They are anticipating a long and tumultuous journey in the months to come, and would appreciate anything you may have to offer.
