On Monday, June 15 at around 8:30 pm, the home of Earvin and Shirlene Martin,  became engulfed in flames and they were only able to escape with the clothes on their backs.  As they watched their home burn, they remained steadfast in their faith, knowing God had spared them. 9 Firetrucks from Duson, Judice, Scott, Milton and Lafayette all worked to extinguish the fire for hours but what wasn’t taken by the flames, has no doubt been ruined by the water. They are in good spirits and very thankful for their lives but they need our help! Friends of the Martin family are organizing this fundraiser to help with the immediate needs of the family.  Thank you for your prayers and support!
