Emergency help for Santa Tim Terpening

Hi, my name is Ellen Terpening and I am raising funds for my husband of 23 years. Santa Tim had a stroke Tuesday, November 7, 2023. His life and our whole family’s life changed drastically in a matter of a second! I recognized the signs of a stroke and got him care early in his stroke, but Santa Tim has a long road in his recovery. Our family is so thankful that Santa Tim is alive and still with us!

We were informed by the hospital that Santa Tim’s insurance will not cover all his hospital care and the future medical care he is going to need in his recovery. At this point, Santa Tim may not be able to return to work for a long time or if he will even have a job after his recovery. He has a part time position that does not have any benefits and as of today Santa Tim has only 17 sick days left then he will no longer have any money coming in from his job. And to make matters worse, Santa Tim was in a car accident the week before making that vehicle non-drivable and our other vehicle was overheating so badly, we were stranded on the side of the road. So, we have no working vehicles to get him to his doctor appointments, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and his Speech Therapy.

Our family is still in shock! We no longer know life the way it was before Santa Tim’s stroke. We have to adapt, change, and adjust. I am now his full time caregiver. This has been devastating to our family! Santa Tim and our family are in dire need of financial help! So, I am asking you all to support Santa Tim to help lesson his worry on how he will afford his treatments for his recovery, and to help cover his monthly bills so Santa Tim can focus on his recovery.

Santa Tim has been a pillar to the community and our family have helped so many children and their families and our community by providing food boxes, holiday gifts and school supplies for over the last 15 years as Santa and Mrs. Claus and now Santa Tim is in a vulnerable position that he needs the community to help him recover due to his stroke.
