Emergency Help for Our Sweet Peanut

Hi everyone — many of you know and love our sweet Peanut. She's been such a loving presence in our lives and has made friends with so many of you.

Unfortunately, today she was involved in a serious incident with one of our other dogs. Peanut was pinned down and bitten on the head, resulting in a traumatic injury. We rushed her to the animal hospital, where she suffered a seizure shortly after arriving. Her head is misshaped from the attack, and the swelling is causing neurological issues, including the seizures.

She's currently being kept under close watch at the animal hospital for the next 36 hours. She's in an oxygen box to help her breathe and stabilize, and the vets are waiting for the swelling to reduce before they can determine the full extent of her injuries.

This has not only been an emotional rollercoaster but also a financial one. The medical bills are more than we can manage alone, and we’re reaching out to ask for any help you might be able to offer.
