Emergency help for Madi and Alex

We are in need of some help again.

I have taken a job in Jacksonville NC and we need to get moved by 11/28

I have been without employment for 5 weeks and we’re in need of help to cover the moving van - we don’t have much to bring so it’s just a small one. 95% of what we owned was thrown into dumpsters because of the mold.

Madi has been feeling better for the most part and I’m pretty much back to normal so getting away from the mold the last 5 months helped tremendously.

My credit is trashed so we’re struggling to get into a place and will likely need quite a bit of money to get into a home. Houses are much more affordable there than in Asheville so that will help.

Any help would be so much appreciated, we send love to all of you.

Emergency. We need help. Madison and I are in a very difficult position. Here’s the facts:

The home We’ve been living in for a few years up on the mountain in Asheville is full of toxic mold. We just found this out in the last month.

Over the last year Madison’s health has been SEVERELY impacted by this mold and she’s been to a ton of doctors every week, tons of urgent care visits, multiple over night and multi day hospital stays, ER visits and ambulances trips. We finally found out this is because of the mold we discovered in the house. All of the medical expenses have really affected our financial resources. She even ended up having a surgery that she didn’t need because of this mold.

The land lord they told us to move out because they’re selling the place immediately. We had to vacate the house a month ago and have been having to stay in hotels. It has completely drained our financial resources. Madison is feeling better since we’ve been out of the house so it was definitely the mold and we are extremely relieved.

We need to find a new home immediately for us and our pets and need a money to get into one. The abrupt nature of all of this on top of the medical drain on our finances hit us totally unprepared for the financial strain and immediate need for a lot of money to get into a new home and cover the cost of a move.

Now to top it off, we just bought a used 2018 Hyundai Tucson as our only car 6 weeks ago and this Sunday while in Tennessee it had a catastrophic engine failure and it will take 3-5 months for Hyundai to repair. They do not offer a loaner so we now have no car. We can’t afford 500$ a week for a rental. (I’ve tried every angle to get a rental)

So we have no home and no car. Our finances are down to almost nothing and we don’t know what to do for immediate solutions.

If anyone can do anything to help we would be grateful. I’ve never had to ask for help like this but we’re out of options.
