Hi, my name is Aj. I’m raising funds for my best friend’s dog, Lilly, who was hit by a speeding car this morning (November 11th around 11 AM) in a school zone.

My friend had just dropped off his daughter at school and was crossing the street with Lilly when a car going over 60 km/h blew through the crosswalk — without braking or stopping — and hit her.

After the accident, my friend rushed Lilly to the nearest vet, but they refused to see her. He immediately took her to another animal hospital near Yonge Street, where she is finally getting emergency care.

Lilly is in critical condition — she was bleeding from her mouth, nose, and chest, and we’re still waiting on updates about internal injuries. She’s fighting hard, but she urgently needs continued treatment and care to survive.

This has been devastating for the family. Lilly means the world to them — especially to my friend’s young daughter, who adores her. They don’t have pet insurance and are already in a tight financial situation, so any help would make a huge difference right now.
