Today I find out Chikis is in a critical condition. Her liver is failing, all her levels have worsened drastically and the vets are worried about possible leptospirosis. She needs a CT scan, surgery, hospitalization and urgent treatment. The cost is estimated at $20.000. I wasn’t prepared for this emotionally or financially. I really just want a chance for Chikis.
