On December 26th, our beloved mother, Brenda Wright from Raleigh, NC, experienced a terrifying and life-changing accident.

She was tragically run over by her own vehicle. She was alone, gravely injured , but still mustered strength to make it back to the house by herself to get help.

The accident left her with a broken back, brusied lungs, multiple broken ribs, a facial fracture and painful contusions all over her body. On top of these injuries, she was already struggling with chronic asthma and other ongoing health conditions, and on that day she was further weakened by the flu. All of this has made her recovery especially difficult and dangerous.

Our mom is not only fighting for her own health – she is also the primary caregiver for her 95-year-old mother. Every day before the accident, she was the one cooking, cleaning, managing medications, and making sure her elderly mother was safe and cared for. Now both of them are suddenly in a crisis.

We are raising 12,000 to help cover:

Medical costs related to her injuries (hospital bills, imaging, specialist visits, medications, physical therapy, and follow-up care).

Temporary and ongoing caregiving support for both our mom and her mother while she recovers.

Necessary equipment and home adjustments (like medical supplies, mobility aids, wheelchair ramp, and safe transportation to appointments).

Help with basic expenses.

This fundraiser is organized and managed by Brenda's loving daughters: Loren, Keisha, Stephanie, and LaSondra. We will provide regular updates on her progress and how funds are being used to ensure full transparency.

She has spent years putting her family first, especially her elderly mother, and asking for help is not easy for her. Right now, though, she truly cannot do this alone.
