Emergency Help For Bea! Please Consider Donating!

Hi Everyone,
Thank you in advance for taking a moment to consider this post. We are fundraising for my dear friend and coworker Bea Thairu. Unfortunately, illness has come at her from all directions. In March of this year, she was diagnosed with severe Diabetes and Hypertension. This led to the discovery of 3 small strokes. As she worked to recover, it was discovered that she also has Stage 5 Kidney Failure. She started dialysis this week.
These conditions have affected her memory and physical strength. Worse, they have left her unable to work, which to Bea is the most devastating blow of all. She loves working and loves taking care of senior citizens.
A little about Bea...
In 1999, Bea went to work for Appletree Court Assisted Living and has worked there since. She has been an instrumental part in building its success, one smile and one selfless task at a time. There has never been anyone with a more positive, loving, Christian heart than Bea. Through the years, she has taken care of thousands of elderly members of our community and she is beloved by all.

Bea was born in Kenya and unfortunately life wasn't always kind. Eventually, she came to the United States seeking to establish a home and better life for her four sons. The youngest was only eight when she left. Struggles with immigration ensued and she was never able to secure the right to return to Kenya or to bring the boys here. She never saw two of them in person again, one perishing years ago and her youngest passing recently from illness. Despite this struggle, Bea always wore a smile and never lost her faith. She set about working 70 to 80 hours per week at multiple jobs, her sole objective was to give her family all she could. Her hard work educated all four sons and countless other friends and family members. She also provided them with the resources to build a wonderful home. She has donated to build churches, schools, supported soccer teams, and whatever she could do to make a difference in her village.
2019, first time she saw two of her sons in person in 21 years!
Bea had the opportunity to visit Appletree Court a couple of weeks ago and it was such a moving experience. The residents shed tears when they saw her and she was met with such love and appreciation. As we walked out to the car, she said, "It was so nice to be home for the day". I was struck that it isn't very often that such special people come into our lives. We are all so very fortunate to have had Bea in our lives all these years and so are all of the residents whose lives she's touched.
Bea's generosity knew no bounds and as a result of this, she left nothing for herself. The medical bills and lack of income are devastating. Bea's eldest son is here helping and we have a strong plan going forward. These funds are going to be used to pay Bea's living and medical expenses, while her son completes a one-year training course. This will enable him to use his engineering degree in the US and support the family as an aviation engineer. Upon approval of his student visa, his wife and two daughters can join him and care for Bea as she recovers. I humbly ask that if you are in a position to help this sweet lady, any amount is a huge benefit to her and greatly appreciated. If not, your prayers are one of the greatest gifts she could receive.
Thank you again for your time and if you're inclined to do so, for sharing this campaign.
