My name is Fadi Shaat , and I am writing these words to you from the midst of suffering after displacement from one place to another to escape death, and we are now in the city of Rafah, where we expected to find safety, but we realised that there is no safe place in the Gaza Strip because of what we witness every day of the destruction of houses over the heads of their inhabitants without mercy or compassion, not to mention the process of starvation to which we are exposed daily, there is no food, no drink, no shelter and no medicine, and these are considered the basic elements that must be available. Since the beginning of the war, my family and I have lost our home and my project that I was relying on to provide a decent life for me, my brothers and my children who have not yet seen the green colour of life, so I am still in pain day after day when I see fear and terror in the eyes of my children and my feeling of complete helplessness towards.
