Mi hermana y sus tres hijos lo han perdido todo después de que las tuberías de su apartamento se rompieran debido al hielo y al frío extremo, destruyendo completamente el lugar donde vivían.

Gracias a Dios, pudieron ayudarlos con un apartamento pequeño y temporal, pero llegaron allí sin absolutamente nada.

Lo más doloroso ha sido el impacto en los niños. Perdieron sus camas, su ropa, zapatos, computadoras y laptops que usaban para hacer sus tareas. Perdieron sus espacios, sus pertenencias personales y la estabilidad que todo niño necesita para sentirse seguro y tranquilo.

En este momento están tratando de adaptarse mientras continúan asistiendo a la escuela sin muchos de los recursos básicos que necesitan. Queremos ayudarles a recuperar lo esencial: camas y colchones para que puedan descansar, ropa y zapatos adecuados, y computadoras para que puedan continuar con sus estudios.

Estamos pidiendo cualquier colaboración que puedan hacer para apoyar a mis sobrinos en este momento tan difícil. Cada aporte, grande o pequeño, nos ayuda a devolverles un poco de normalidad y esperanza.

My sister and her three children have lost everything after the pipes in their apartment burst due to ice and extreme cold, completely destroying the home where they were living.

Thankfully, they were able to receive a small temporary apartment, but they arrived there with absolutely nothing.

The most heartbreaking part has been the impact on the children. They lost their beds, clothes, shoes, computers, and laptops that they used for schoolwork. They lost their personal belongings, their safe spaces, and the stability that every child needs to feel secure and at peace.

Right now, they are trying to adjust while continuing to attend school without many of the basic resources they need. We want to help them replace the essentials: beds and mattresses so they can rest, proper clothing and shoes, and computers so they can continue their education.
