Hi my name is Baffy and my siblings and I are fundraising for our mother, who is currently hospitalized in Sydney and urgently requires open-heart surgery to repair a damaged heart valve.

Our Mum was admitted to hospital after experiencing serious heart symptoms. Doctors performed an angiogram and have informed us that open-heart surgery is urgently required. This surgery is critical and time sensitive.

Unfortunately, our mother is not an Australian citizen and is not eligible for Medicare. As a result, the full cost of her hospital care, surgery, and recover must be paid privately.

We are currently estimating medical costs exceeding AUD $100,000 which include:

• Open heart valve surgery

• Hospital and ICU care

• Specialist, surgical and anesthetist fees

• Medications and post-operative recovery

We are doing everything possible to support our mum, but the cost and urgency of this surgery are beyond what we can manage alone.
