Emergency Funds Post-Fire for Bethanie Lundy. ❤️

On the morning of March 6th, 2022, my partner, Bethanie Lundy called me at 8:00 a.m. to tell me she was standing outside while watching her entire house become engulfed in flames. Tragically, she lost 99% of everything she owned, including decades of memories, artwork, and two of her 3 beloved cats - Walter and Kahlo.

Frannie, her 12-year old little lady, was brought to the emergency animal hospital and is currently in their ICU for oxygen therapy, IV fluids, antibiotics, and monitoring. The veterinarian believes that she will be okay, but we will not know the damage from the smoke inhalation for another day or two. So she is remaining as their patient being monitored closely to any sudden changes. Fortunately, Frannie did not sustain any visible burns, but even the vet said these may not show for a few days. Send healing vibes to this girl so she pulls through and can come live with me for a while!

Right now, things are overwhelming as Beth works to determine her next steps. I am asking all of our friends who are wanting to help to consider contributing to this GoFundMe cause, so that we can all help offset the immediate financial needs she is, and will be, facing.

Bethanie is safe, and has multiple places to stay while she rebuilds her life. We are fortunate for every one of you, even through sympathetic words of love and concern. Contribute if you can and how you can.
