My husband and myself are entertainers, but are handicapped and haven't been able to do any Shows this year, so have no income. I am on disability . We live in a single wide mobile home and pay $450 a month and have been here for 12 years. We're being EVICTED from our home by landlord.

Our rent is paid in full again this month. It's not for non payment of rent.

My wife Victoria and I are entertainers but we are both temporarily handicapped. She is in a wheel chair. My back is out of alignment. We are not able to earn any money doing our shows this whole year. She is on disability.

Our landlord wants us to vacate the house immediately as the floor is caving in and unsafe to live here. We have no money to pay to rent another home or to move right now. Our disability funds will pay our monthly rent once we have moved to a new home.

In Dec, 2021, the water pipe broke under our home. I called the landlord and they repaired it but found that the water rotted the support beams in the floor making the kitchen floor start to cave in. They put down a temporary board covering most of the kitchen floor and said that they would repair the floor beams in April when the weather warms up but they never did.

The temporary floor board held up all those months so I never mentioned it to the again however last week the floor started to cave in. I left a message for the landlord but he never got back to me so I purchased sheets of quarter inch plywood and had someone screw them down over the floor.

Then another water pipe broke and started to cave in the entire kitchen floor. We called the landlord again and he fixed the other broken pipe but said that the floor was too far gone and unsafe to remain in the house and wanted us to be out that very day or he would evict us. Short notice. Tried to find a place to move to. Apt, house, mobile home, anything. Nothing as yet so he said that he's going to evict us with the Sheriff if we don't leave voluntarily which means we lose everything we own in the house.

Normally by law they give you 30 days to find a new home to move to but that's for non payment of rent. We paid our rent and have all the receipts. Because he said the floor is a liability to him and wants us out now!

He's blaming me for causing the water pipes to break and the floor beams to rot. How is it my fault. He says his insurance won't cover the floor repair because I caused it??? I Did?? How?? Blaming me so he can get out of it.

They lock up the house and put yellow tape across the doors. Victoria's violins, my guitars, our show costumes, cloths, our two pet cats, medications, all of my escape props, handcuffs, magic, sound systems, etc., etc.

We can become homeless! What can we do? We paid the rent and have the receipts. The landlord accepted the rent every month knowing about the floor and never repaired it. Now in one day he is forcing us out of our home without being able to take any of our belongings and where do we go anyway with no other home to move to?

Also my wife Victoria is temporarily crippled. She's in a wheel chair and can't walk. The landlord doesn't care about that.

We have found other places to rent but need to raise funds to pay for house rental and security and moving expenses.
