My Name is Gail Buck and my son, Paul Hilgarth was hit by a SUV on his bicycle on 2/25/23 riding from school to his job. Paul was run over by the SUV than the driver panicked and backed up over him. It is a miracle that he survived this horrific accident and was not left a paraplegic. However, after spending weeks in the hospital, he is recuperating at home with severe pain and much difficulty walking. The road to recovery is long and he is unable to work at this time. The state of Florida won’t consider paying him any disability until he is unemployed for 6 months. Until that time my goal is to raise enough funds to pay his daily living necessities; rent, food, health insurance and phone. I hope family and friends will be able to pitch in to help him survive the next several months. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
