Hello and thanks for taking the time to read our gofundme.
We really didn’t want to have to write this, but we need to be honest about where things stand.
Right now, we have just £400 left in our rescue funds. Today alone we have a kitten being neutered and an elderly cat needing urgent veterinary care. On top of that, we are still recovering financially from a recent emergency c-section surgery, which has put a huge strain on our already stretched funds.
We are at breaking point. Without immediate support, we may have to make the heartbreaking decision to stop taking in and helping animals altogether.
We’re trying to raise £2,000 to cover urgent and ongoing veterinary costs so we can keep going.
At the moment, we’re caring for:
• Grace, an elderly cat with ongoing skin and weight issues who needs continued treatment
• Walter, our 16-year-old dog with a grade 5 heart murmur, on essential medication costing over £200 every month (neither Grace or Walter can be rehomed due to their age and ongoing medical needs at the moment).
• Two dogs still waiting to be spayed, with costs of £400+ each
• Cuddles the mummy cat who required a C-section and ongoing care for her skin.
• Harry who may need treatment on his ear.
• A new elderly cat needing major dental work. She has yesterday cost the rescue nearly £400 taking a huge chunk of our funds. She has also been diagnosed with Hypothyroidism meaning she will need ongoing medication for life and repeat blood works.
Alongside this, we are covering daily rescue costs — food, supplies, and the basic care every animal deserves.
Our vets have been incredibly supportive and do discount where they can, which we are so grateful for. But even with that help, we simply don’t have enough to keep up with what’s needed.
We hate asking, but this rescue exists purely because people care. Every single donation, no matter how small, makes a real difference. If you’re not able to donate, even sharing this could help us reach someone who can.
We don’t want to close our doors. These animals rely on us, and we rely on your support to keep showing up for them.
Thank you for reading, and for caring
