Emergency funds for Tim Forkin Jr & Julie Nguyen

Nearly midnight on Tuesday 6/7/22 in Plainville MA, my brother Tim began smelling burnt plastic. When he looked out his bedroom on his 2nd floor, he saw flames. Acting quickly, his girlfriend Julie called 911 while Tim ran out to turn car alarms on and alert their neighbors. Due to where the fire started and where it spread to initially, no smoke detectors in any of the surrounding townhomes were sounding off, so Tim's quick thinking potentially saved some lives and prevented injuries. Shortly after firefighters arrived, the fire was raised to a four alarm with several surrounding towns sending trucks and crews to help fight the spread.

 

Tim and Julie's townhome was a total loss with all of their belongings destroyed.

 

Fortunately, everyone was safe and no injuries occurred to residents or any firefighters.

 

Being 700 miles away from my brother and Julie, who is like a sister to me, this was the least I could do to help. These funds will go directly to Tim and Julie to help cover emergency lodging expenses, food costs and personal items (such as clothes and essentials).
