Emergency funds for Genas Surgery

Gena is a loving and hardworking mother who is always there for the people that need her. Last week while walking through the yard she stepped off the driveway on to the grass and slipped, severely injuring her leg, breaking both her ankle and leg. She has a surgery scheduled that will cost nearly $8000. We have most of it but we are short about $1700 and the surgery is coming soon. We are trying to raise this money in time for the surgery due to the fact that her insurance doesn't cover it and we must pay up front. We normally wouldn't consider something like this but this is truly a time sensitive emergency. Any help is deeply and sincerely appreciated. If we happen to go over our goal the extra will be used towards other medical expenses and bills, since she will be out of work for some time with no income.
