Hello,

This is not something that I would normally do but we have a friend who is in an emergency situation.

Christie Thomas has been driving for Lyft for a few years as a way to support herself. On Thursday, May 29th, she was driving to pick up a fare. While making a legal left turn she was t-boned on the driver's side and had to be extracted from her vehicle. She was sent to a Trauma center where she is currently being treated for a brain bleed, fractured ribs, a concussion and multiple smaller injuries. She will be moved to an inpatient rehabilitation center to heal from her injuries. We don't know how long she will be there.

Since Lyft was her only means of earning money, she currently has no source of income.

We are trying to raise emergency funds to keep her from being evicted and lessen her stress level which is not helping her injuries.

Any help would be appreciated.
