Hey all,
I know that times are crazy and every one is uncertain of what is going on everywhere in the world. During a time like this, I wouldn't ask for money unless it was absolutely justified.
Unfortunately, one of our families at LIFE Prep experienced an unimaginable tradgedy by losing their father in a car accident this morning. This family moved to Minnesota a few years ago from Mississippi and have no family in the area to help with this situation.
After speaking with my students mother this morning, I have learned that the family wishes to go back to Mississippi to have a funeral for him. The money that I hope to raise here will help cover the cost of transporting him back home, a funeral, and remaining rent costs that they will still have in Minnesota. Any remaining money that we raise will help a single mother, now raising four kids on her own.
LIFE Prep loves and cares for this family and all four of their kids, two of whom I was lucky enough to have in my classroom. Please give what you can, it matters more than you know.
