Emergency basics after building fire

Hey All,

I'm starting this GoFundMe to help cover the costs of temporary housing, food, necessities, and medications after a fire displaced me from my apartment.

On August 27, 2024, a fire broke out behind my apartment building above Agave restaurant in downtown Frederick with other residents, I watched in shock as fire crews responded. Thanks to the efforts of the emergency responders, nobody was injured.

After six years of calling this place home, I now face homelessness. While a few of us were given temporary hotel stays, the support ended after a few days.

I’m turning to the Frederick community I love for support during this difficult time. Any assistance, even just kind words, would mean the world as I work to rebuild my life. Let’s come together to help not just me, but ALL suddenly displaced residents through this stressful and uncertain chapter of our lives.❤️
