Emergency Fundraiser for the Wood Family
Donation protected
On March 17, 2020 my niece, Keokiana Wood was involved in a car accident with her sister Amadi and two friends. Amadi and their friends survived, and Keokiana unfortunately didn't.
She was 18 years old and about to graduate high school with advanced honors and planned to attend the University of Arizona in the fall. Keokiana was a music major at Las Vegas Academy of the Arts, one of the best performing arts high schools in the nation. Keokiana planned to continue music in college and had aspirations of joining a city Philharmonic as a career. Keokiana recently ranked second in the state for clarinets.
Keokiana had a joyful spirit and a wonderfully upbeat, magnetic personality that drew everyone to her. Her inner joy came through in her beautiful smile and amazing laugh. Everyone was uplifted when they heard her laugh. She got so much joy out of such small things. Keokiana loved music, friends, animals and kids, she loved too many things to list. Keokiana wanted to do everything, she would have needed four lifetimes to do all the things she wanted but she had only just gotten started on this one. Keokiana could have excelled in any one of the thousand things she wanted to do and we are sad that she didn’t get to explore more in this life.
Keokiana is missed and loved by us and so many more friends and family.
It isn't easy for the Wood family to ask for help, but they are overwhelmed with so many unexpected bills and unforeseen expenses.
Any financial assistance and prayers you may provide would be appreciated.
