Hello, my name is Rayan, and I'm reaching out from Gaza. At 18 years old, my dreams of becoming an engineer were shattered by the ongoing war. Despite the challenges, I cling to the hope of one day leaving Gaza for a better life.

My family consists of 8 members, and we've been displaced from our home in Khan Yunis to Rafah, but even in Rafah now we are witnessing a massacre after being told to move down here. We don’t even have a basic shelter, surviving in makeshift tents amidst the rubble left behind by bombings.

Our house, once filled with cherished memories, love, happiness, laughter was destroyed! leaving us with nothing but the trauma of our displacement. My youngest siblings have been robbed of a normal childhood, and to make matters worse, my mother suffers from high blood pressure, requiring urgent medical treatment that we cannot afford.

We yearn to escape this cycle of violence and oppression and build our lives again, from scratch. Every day feels like a slow death, as we struggle to survive amidst the ruins of our once vibrant community.
