A few days ago, James, Kiri and their beautiful children went away for what was supposed to be a wonderful weekend family break in their caravan. James and Kiri are such hard workers and wonderful parents. The kind of people who will do anything for anyone and HAVE helped many people.

Whilst relaxing in the caravan with their children, there was an explosion from an aerosol can which had fallen off the side and the fall had created a hole in the can.

They were cooking food at the time and the gas in the can ( which had fallen by the hob ) mixed from the gas fire from the hob caused what can only be described as a huge fireball inside the caravan.

The whole of the caravan set ablaze in seconds with the 4 of them inside.

James's quick thinking amongst the screams, confusion and panic ensured that Kiri and their small children escaped the caravan by literally throwing himself on to the fire, putting himself in danger and harm to protect Kiri and his children from getting set alight.

He had to kick the caravan door open whilst being on fire, using all his strength AND while his family were getting burnt themselves.

James was covered in flames from the fire he had been forced to jump on to save his family being set ablaze . He put Kiri and his children first before thinking about himself.

As Kiri protected the children by getting them away from a burning caravan, james was literally rolling on the floor outside to doubt the flames that were engulfing his body.

They have received burns to their bodies but thanks to james they are alive and okay. James was rushed to hospital where the pain and the shock of the burns and what had happened was so intense and horrific that his body went into shock and he blacked out.

James has received burns to his eyes, face, body and hands, needing skin grafts on his hands.

From this horrific incident, james is now not able to work, has a family to take care of, a business to run and they have been left in a situation that will test their mental health, physical health, financial health and emotional health.

James and Kiri will aways go above and beyond for everyone they can and those that know them well will testify to this.

People of integrity, honesty and loyalty, they will give their last penny to help anyone in need.

This incident has affected james, Kiri's and their childrens life and they need help financially to relieve the big stresses that sit over them from now not being able to work.
