Hi my name is Serina, and first i want to say thank you for taking the time to read this.

I have to admit i have been apprehensive to make this gofundme, i havent been surrounded by much community up until this point in my life and im slowly understanding when it is time and that it is okay to ask for help.

A little about me and why this money is needed: I have lived independently since I was 15 and am a care leaver, previously living in supported accommodations and moving myself to Bristol in July last year.

I have been in Bristol nearly a year now and i want to thank everybody who has helped to make that possible, i feel i am able to just exist here and i can breathe.

Usually i would recieve help from the local council with housing as a care leaver, however I must live within Bristol for 2 years to do so.

I know on my page im doing my thing, doing what i really love. However ... i have a Chronic Illness and it severely impacts my body

Where sometimes my body can feel like its made of Glass, my page is honestly just the good days.

This combined with the fact i am a Trans poc can make it difficult to find jobs consistently that can accommodate aswell as pay enough, outside of nightlife etc.

I have been able to save what i can but with rising costs it simply isn't enough.

Since being in Bristol i have been involved with a number of community projects and i really love doing it, seeing the local community expand and seeing people make connections, seeing everybody grow especially where i now call home truly makes me happy and i really really want to be able to stay and carry on.

These funds will help with a deposit on a flat and to help with some bills when i move.
