Emergency Fundraiser for Chris

Hi.

I’m John Powell…Chris’s dad. While driving back from Interlochen Chris was involved in a serious traffic accident…HE IS NOT BADLY HURT.

Chris was the last car in a 3-car pile-up on the freeway just outside of Omaha, and his car caught on fire and burned up completely. Amazingly, Chris had only minor injuries: the airbag on the steering wheel of his 2015 Jetta failed to open, so he banged his face, bruised his nose, and cut the inside of his upper lip. As of today there are no visible signs of his injuries, but Chris was psychologically traumatized.

Since Chris was planning to be gone for 6 weeks he took along his Korg keyboard, his amplifier, his Macbook, his i-Pad pro, his concert attire, almost all of his clothes, his backpack, his glasses, medications, etc. All of that burned up in the fire, and Chris flew home last Thursday with just the clothes on his back.

I have been sending Chris $$$ to help him get started, but he needs to replace so many things before school starts in the fall. Chris has many friends who enjoy his online videos, and might welcome the opportunity to join me in helping him get back on his feet. One important item he lost was his beloved Korg keyboard, with which he made those music videos.
