Hi my name is bell and I am the founder of Bella’s Halfway Home a place where the forgotten, abandoned, and unwanted animals get a second chance at life. Every life we save matters, and every day we fight to give them the warmth, care, and dignity they deserve.

But right now, we are facing one of our hardest battles yet.

Each month, we spend £625 on rent alone, just to keep our gates open. On top of that, it’s £80 every single week just for standard feed and that doesn’t include the things we cannot go without: bedding, hay, vet bills, medication, animal transport costs and countless other essentials that keep our animals healthy and safe.

Winter is the most brutal season for us. Costs rise, needs increase, and the animals in our care rely on us more than ever. Sadly, at the very time we need support the most, our monthly donations have declined. The reality is heartbreaking without urgent help, we may not make it through the winter too many innocent lives depend on us and we rehome every animal that can possibly be rehomed but unfortunately some animals their needs are just too much for adopter’s meaning they stay with us until they’re very last breath
