I am starting this GoFund me for my Uncle and his family. Chad & Alisha Eaves. Tragedy has struck them HARD, fast, and unpredictable. My Aunt Alisha was in a horrific car accident April 17, 2021 traveling to a ball game from Reform to Fayette. When the truck she was driving got hit head on by another car. Alisha was driving, her brother was in front, her 3 baby boys in the back. Thankfully her brother and 2 of the boys was ok just banged up. The youngest son, Edwin, sustained a broken ankel and wrist but is otherwise ok. Thanks to the no play way Alisha insisted on having the kids strapped in properly, they are ok and have minimum injuries. She was very cautious and for that I am grateful. But for Alisha, she wasn't that lucky. When her father made it to the vehicle she was unresponsive. The motor and transmission came in and crushed her lower body. Airbags deployed and caused injuries. Alisha and the other car was airlifted to UAB and put through many tests and still being tested. So far they have found a severe broken foot, two broken legs, crushed pelvic area, internal bleeding in her abdomen, bleeding on the brain (thankfully outside of the brain but still in skull. They are checking to make sure brain fluid is in tact and go from there) a bleeding ovary which they are talking about removing and other several fractured bones. That's what we have found out in 24hrs. They take her off the sedation every few hours to make sure she is still responsive. My Uncle Chad is a total wreck. Stressed is a understatement, he has had his family, his little babies, stretched out over 3 hospitals, and sadly he couldn't be 3 places at once. He hasn't left Alisha but it definitely is taken a toll, as anyone going through this would be he is worried. He has taken leave from work from now until God knows when, to take care of his wife and kids. As any of us knows the bills, food, and life doesn't stop simply because you have a tragedy and take a leave from work. I know this is harder on them during this time simply because not long ago, maybe 3-4 months, he had to take leave for a wreck he was in himself. My Uncle is one of the most kindest and down to earth people I have ever met. His wife is one of the greatest mothers I have ever met. They are going to need help in the long road ahead. Anything you can give would be a blessing. If you can't give, prayers are more than welcomed and needed as well. I will update more once I have the information. Thank you for your kind thoughts, donations, and prayers. Keep them lifted up as anything is life is possible with God.
