Emergency Funding - Kenya Jungle Wildlife Center

Donation protected

Hi,

I'm Lillie and I want to save nature and all animals on Earth. I wanted to adopt a snake but here in Africa are no pet shops or snake breeders at all. So my dad found this man, who owns the Jungle Snake Village Centre (Snake Park) here in Ukunda, Diani Beach, South Mombasa Kenya, and asked him to find a couple of non-venomous snakes for me. When I went to pick up my snakes I saw the Centre. I saw poor conditions in which animals are living. Immediately I decided to do all I can, to get some money and help.

I adopted two African grass snakes, named Viper and Tiki. That’s when I became obsessed with them. Later I got more and more.

THE BACKGROUND OF THE JUNGLE VILLAGE CENTRE

The Jungle Village Centre (Snake Park) was established by Hamisi Mwinyi Chiboga – a man who has a big heart for snakes. It is a nonprofit organization. The owner’s motto is: “Save snakes and don’t kill them”. What Hamisi is doing is helping people who get snakes in their homes by coming, picking them up safely, and bringing them to his Centre. For that, he doesn’t get any money. Here in Africa still many people die from venomous snake bites. Animal conservation in Jungle Village Centre covers also taking care of reptiles, birds and more. Because of the current COVID-19 pandemic, there are not many visitors at the moment so Hamisi struggles to provide food and better living conditions for the animals. Besides that, he also provides clean, drinking water for the local community for free. Hamisi is teaching children and adults to love and care for animals.

This is the most poisonous snake in the world,  a black mamba, which Hamisi caught by himself

Birds are living in terrariums intendent for snakes - terribly small places

As you can see this place needs a new fences

These are the baby crocodiles that have too little space
