Emergency Funding (housing)

Hi, my name is Rachel and I usually don't do these types of things but push comes to shove and we all get put into positions that we sometimes need help to get out of. I just turned 20 and I've been on my own since I was 17. Both my parents have passed away and I've been through a lot of struggles since. 

Recently (Dec 11th, 2017) I was fired from my job without any notice and I never even received my last paycheck. I have no money in my bank(see below), my bills are piling, and I'm even in debt with my credit card company. I've even applied for unemployment compensation until I could find a new job but was promptly denied.


I've applied to every place in my small town, most places aren't hiring or don't want someone who doesn't have a car. I take the bus which limits my hours at a lot of places. I'm hoping once Christmas is over, places will be hiring again. I definitely won't be able to manage that long without income, so that's why I'm making this.

Realistically, I aim to gain half of what I set my goal for. Even just a 100$ would be enough to help out. The money donated will go to paying my rent, bills, and allow me to buy groceries and other necessities/emergency items if anything were to happen.
