Hi, my name is Natalie Paul, and I am reaching out to my social media community, friends, and family during a difficult time. I am currently facing an urgent housing crisis due to a medical setback and need help to keep a roof over my family's head.

Due to a Sarcoidosis flare up, which is an auto-immune disease, I was diagnosed with in 2004 and for which I have been in remission for over 10 years. I had to stop working at the end of September 2025. I did not expect the situation to last so long and functioned for a few months with my savings and family members’ assistance.

Unfortunately, the symptoms got worse, causing joint pain, painful nodules and rashes on my lower limbs, body tremors and vertigo. The symptoms made me unable to work and the contract work I was doing did not have benefits. As such, I have fallen behind on our housing expenses. We are currently unable to cover a portion of our January 2026 and February 2026, as well as utilities.

Our landlord has been understanding so far, but we have received N4-Notice to End Your Tenancy For Non-payment of rent on January 7, 2026, and have been given a firm deadline to bring our account current. If we cannot raise the funds in arrears by January 21, 2026, our landlord will unfortunately have to begin the formal eviction process, which would leave my family and I without a home in the next little while.

We are hoping to raise $7500 to cover the following specific costs:

• January 2026 Rent Balance: $2000

• February 2026 Rent: $3000

• Utilities & Services-Arrears (Electric, Water, Gas): $1800

• Utilities & Services-February 2026 (Electric, Water, Gas): $500

• GoFundMe Fees/Withdrawal buffer: Total Needed: $200

Every dollar donated goes directly toward securing our housing and stability for the next two months as we continue to work on finding a long-term solution. Any contribution, no matter how small, makes a significant difference and brings us one step closer to housing security.
