Emergency funding for Cyrus’s family.
Donation protected
As many know Cyrus Donovan has been unwell and in Perth children’s hospital for a few weeks now, he has been diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM), this has come with a real possibility of him needing a heart transplant.
Cyrus went from being a happy, active and robust 8 year old boy to now having to be flown out to Melbourne hospital this coming Monday.
We are reaching out to ask for donations to go towards helping ease the burden on the family in their time of need as they try to cope with Cyrus’s sudden extreme medical emergency.
UPDATED:
After arriving in Melbourne and receiving open heart surgery to place a VAD in, things didn’t go according to plan and Cyrus suffered a major stroke.
This has resulted in him losing feeling and movement on the left hand side and very limited speech ( most of the right hand side of his brain is completely damaged), he also needs a wheelchair.
At the moment they are focusing on building up muscle tone and many different types of therapies.
