Hi, my name is Kristin Woody. My best friend Cat Reiss and her husband, two young daughters and family pets suffered a fire at their home on Father's Day (June 18, 2023). This comes only three days after their youngest daughter was Life Flighted to Danville for an emergency surgery (who is also celebrating her 7th birthday away from her home on June 19!).

While everyone got out safe, the house has been deemed a danger to live in due to the fire. Extensive work must be done for the family to return home. They will need to cover expenses while they find somewhere to live temporarily. They also need to cover the cost of boarding their two dogs during this difficult time.

Cat is a local nurse helping to deliver babies and Billy is a college football coach in the area. They are very giving to their community and I can personally attest to their own generosity.
