Hi everyone,
I’ve started a fundraising campaign in response to the devastating 7.7 magnitude earthquake that recently struck Myanmar — a tragedy that has left many families without homes, medical care, or even the most basic necessities.
This disaster comes on top of years of hardship — ongoing conflict, an economic crisis, devastating floods, and the long-term impact of COVID-19. As someone from Myanmar, this hits especially close to home. My community is in urgent need.
While international aid is starting to arrive, I believe direct help to local communities and on-the-ground rescue teams can make a faster, more tangible impact. The funds raised will go toward emergency relief such as:
- Food and clean water
- Medical supplies and medicine
- Temporary shelter
- And heartbreakingly — body bags, as the death toll continues to rise.
I’ve connected with trusted local friends in the region — many of whom run businesses with both national and international networks — to ensure aid is delivered swiftly and responsibly. I work in the finance team of a well-respected architecture firm in Australia and we will take full accountability for every donation received.
Every dollar counts. If you can’t donate, a share or repost means the world. Thank you so much for your compassion and support
