Dear family, friends, and compassionate strangers,

My name is Nancy, and I'm raising funds for Lauren Colon. Lauren's home was flooded after heavy rainfall struck Marion County for days and nights with what seemed like no end. Lauren's home and entire property was flooded waist high and damaged everything in Lauren's home. Lauren, a currently pregnant mother, and her 2 children lost everything in the flood from bedding, clothing, shoes, and everything essential to live.

I need you all to know who Lauren Colom is... Lauren is a rockstar Cashier at Jenkins Acura and a VALUED member of the team. She comes to work every day with a smile planted on her face. Always the first to help, reliable, dependable and just an absolute joy to be around. This disaster has left her sleeping on a couch at the moment, pregnant, in pain and in need. You can only imagine the mental grief she is also going through.

We’re extremely grateful that everyone affected managed to escape from their home. Unfortunately, due to the extent of the damage, Lauren and her children will have to find another place to live. Immediately, Lauren and her children need clothing, hygiene products, school supplies, food and hopefully enough funds to find somewhere else to live.

We would appreciate any financial support at this time. All funds raised will be put towards finding Lauren and her children a more permanent living arrangement as she works in Ocala, FL and to cover any basic necessities and bills during this difficult time.
